BIOGRAPHY
I learned this at a very young age. Growing up with a disabled Vietnam Veteran as a father, I learned first-hand how individuals suffer when stricken with injury, adversity and financial difficulties. Due to Agent Orange in Vietnam, my father suffered for as long as I can remember, enduring the physical and mental repercussions the war and toxic poison inflicted upon him and our family. Along with my father’s mental and physical suffering, my family experienced extreme financial hardships at times with no one to fight for us and through no fault of our own. These life lessons created a compelling need within to help those that are injured, mentally, physically and financially, through the wrongdoing of others. I remember feeling lost, confused and helpless during those times. I vowed to myself, that I would choose a path in life that enabled me to help others feeling that way. I consider it a privilege and an honor to be the voice for those who cannot without me, be heard.
“As long as poverty, injustice and gross inequality, persist in our world, none of us can truly rest.”
-Nelson Mandela
